Happy New Year! 2011 has come in with gusto and certainly hasn’t stopped yet. Yesterday was the first day of class for SCCP and I worry that the MUSC PharmacyHooding ceremony will be here in a flash (and while we are on the subject, I hope that you will go ahead and mark your calednars to attend the Hooding Ceremony. It will be the evening of May 19)
As many of you have seen, we sent a great buildilng piece in the mail last fall and have had a really great response. I wanted to thank all of our alumni and friends who have stepped up to the plate with gifts supporting the Building the Future of Pharamcy Campaign. I ran a quick list yesterday an learned that 194 gifts and pledges have come in supporting the MUSC Pharmacy Building Fund since July 1 (the beginning of our fiscal year). All of the gifts and pledges totalling over $264,000.
I anitcipate that this number will continue to go up as we strive to finish strong these next 6 months. If you haven’t already done so, I do hope that you will consider making a gift towards the buildling. And, of course, if you have – thank you.
